I just love those antique malls with all the old ladies.....the fancy glass and the dolls are expensive.....but old knives ?
The first is a LF&C 2 3/4" Never sharpened, good snap, etc. etc. I can even make out a faint blade etch...Universal. My 1 book says 1914-30's, but no values. The second is marked Robeson ShurEdge ( in script ) over Rochester. 3 1/8" This has been sharpened & has tiny tip missing both blades, and is lazy closing. #622359 on back of tang. Now my question for you old col......Collectors,...of OLD pocketknives, both have some black spots on the blades & springs. Hand polish w/ Flitz, or keep 'em as I found 'em ??
Oops!! pictures get reversed, I'll try to remember that. BTW...the funny lookin' blade on the LF&C is a file, and that unmarked red box the Robeson was in.....Nah, THAT'S unlikely.
