I would appreciate prayer for my sister Gayle. She had a cancerous tumor removed about 6 months ago and was undergoing Cemo. for some cancer cells the medical people detected in other areas around where the tumor was. The Cemo. was suppose to be a mild one with little side effects but turned out to be ineffective. They just stopped the Cemo. because other tumors were growing and the Meds. weren't having any effect on them. They raised her cancer to a level 4 stage and plan for more tests to try to figure out what to do next. Thanks in advance for all the prayers. ____Dave

Prayers for Gayle and your family Dave ....

I got an EMail from Gayle on Thursday and she has a PET scan on Aug 25th and follow-up with the Oncologist on the 28th. We are all praying for miraculous healing and that the scan will show no signs of cancer. She is a strong Christian and realizes the sovereignty of God and knows that God knew the number of days He had planned for her while He was forming her in Mom's womb. She said nothing holds her her except love of family and friends. All the remaining siblings (6 of us) and spouses are getting together early next month for dinner and going to Gayle's cabin for the afternoon. We try to get all of us together once a year and have for many years. I'm praying we will have a few years left to do this. My older brother passed away a few years ago after a long battle with cancer and I'm a second oldest and fair amount older than Gayle. I keep telling my younger siblings that I'm next and have no plans on leaving any time soon. I guess it doesn't work that way. Thanks again for your prayers. ____Dave

Gayle's PET scan showed no sign of cancer. The doctors still see several spots that appear to be tumors and have no idea what they are but told Gayle they aren't cancer. They have resumed he Cemo. This is the news we were praying for and everything is on track for a full healing from her battle . Thank you to all who prayed. ____Dave
