M1 bayonet

Looking for a Bayonet for a Garand. M1 or shortened M1905 (m1917?.. I'm a bit confused about which is which)...
Anyway..a bayonet for my Garand.

The M1905 is the long blade (16") bayonet used on the M1 Garand and the M1903A rifles up through the first 2 years of WW2.
The M1 is the 9.6" bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle. It also fits on the M1903 and M1903A rifles. It was adopted as the standard bayonet in early 1943.
As soon as there were enough M1 bayonets fielded, the M1905s started getting chopped down to about 9.75". The cut-down M1905s have been called either M1905s or M1s, depending on who was speaking at the time. Their correct designation is M1905E1.
The M1917 bayonet is for use on the M1917 Enfield .303 rifles and the seven models of trench shotguns. The M1917 will not fit any of the M1, M1903 or M1903A rifles as well as they will fit the weapons they were designd for.
The muzzle ring ID for the M1/M1905 is 0.62". They will NOT fit at all on the Enfield or the shotguns.
The muzzle ring ID for the P1913/M1917 is 0.655" to 0.660". They will fit the M1/M1903/M1903A but more loosely than the M1/M1905 bayonets will.
The P1913 is the British designation for the same Enfield rifle. The M1917 is simply a copy of the P1913.
