Great work, nicely fitted blade and fast turn-around. I think this lovely old Wade, Rowbotham,Sheffield split back Whittler was well worth saving; thanks to you we have! Thanks again.

I like the added tuch of the penny too...
A long time ago I was told if you gave a knife for a wedding gift you needed to add a penny...

..Did any one else ever do that and WHY ???

Ken,
Superstition has it that a coin must be given with a gifted knife, so that the friendship is not cut! Wenger did a nice gift pack, some years ago that actually contained an old coin (the equalivent of 1 cent); nice touch and it had the superstition printed out!
What were you doing last night? This is with my little Olympus SP-310, cranked up to full power with everything on, including noise reduction!
