About the biggest mess that has been posted in while. Great work on inlaying the shield and matching the bolsters. The good news is the blades have great snap and no wobble. Sure to get a new home.

That's a beauty. I can't believe no one is bidding on it :D

You know, I do not ever recall seeing a knife with a bolster on one side and not on the other. So this is not just rare vintage, it is unique.

That doesn't even deserve to be classified as a POS. ::dang::

I'd consider bidding just for the fun of putting it in the next POS round table, but the shipping alone is 2x more than I'd bid on it!

Speaking of a "Hot mess"...check out this seller's unbelievably tacky marketing strategy.
The knife looks genuine, but I'm not so sure there's anything at all genuine in the first photo. ::uc::

Do you suppose that is his ex that will realize the proceeds of the sale?

To be perfectly honest, Greg, I'm not even sure which one is selling the knife, the ex-husband or the ex-wife. If it's the ex-wife selling her ex-husband's expensive William Henry, the true revenge would be to sell the knife for a ridiculously low price just out of spite. ::sneaky::

As a retired MD all i can think of when looking at picture of woman is how painful her distorted chest must be. Reading the guy's FB he has sold a crotch rocket motorbike for $9,000, a car for $11,000 ("much better than described") and a $30,000 diamond engagement ring. If i knew enough about Wm. Henry knives to assess value of his, i might bid for it.
Putting the picture of a woman does make one want to read the listing to find out what is going on. I might message him and ask if everything pictured is included in the auction.

Kj, just judging by the photo of the woman and the surrounding circumstances, I'm going to guess that might be a money pit best avoided. ::nod::
