Recognize this touchmark????

Picked this up a few weeks ago. I think the fellow said it was made in Montana. I would like to handle it with maybe a D Guard. Do you recognize the touchmark or know who the maker might be? It has been folded several times during the forging. From stem to stern it is a bit over 17 inches with a little over 11 inches being blade. At it's thickest close to 3/16ths.
