All About Pocket Knives

Hey guys, I recently purchased - with the intent to re-sell - a 170th Anniversary Kissing Crane Bowie Knife at an auction run by a friend of mine. The COA was not available and I need to know if anyone might know what process is available to me to obtain a replacement COA. I have searched and as yet have been unable to find a web site for Robt. Klaas Cutlery. Any ideas? I am pretty certain this is indeed one of the 600 produced because I was guaranteed by the auction company that it was authentic but i sure would like to have the COA.
I have heard that there are some counterfeits of this knife out there, anyone know what to look for in a counterfiet?

bubba, you can assume anything. 88 people have looked at this question. i think as a whole our members give all they know trying to help id knives. if there are not many responces, it simply means we don't have the answer to your questions. good luck with your sale.

Since you seem to be looking for input, here is mine...I don't think the brand is particularly collectable, as I don't see folks with whole collections like I do with Case, Bulldog, Fight'n Rooster, etc. The knife itself is displayed nicely, but it looks a lot like it could be a contract knife (Boker?). JMO though.
