IXL stag pruner G Wostenholm

Heres a stag pruner I picked up> Its got a little knick out of the blade but Ill dress the blade and get rid of that. The blade has got plenty of snap. The stag is really nice as you can see. Someone has had a go with a wire wheel which is a pity but i can live with that.

Very nice. I don't see that as ever being a "user" knife, and a few months back there was a jeweler that could do very good blade repair. That would be a fine job for someone like that. Instead of removing the surrounding steel to hide the nick, just fix that one spot, so the blade would still be "full". I'll have to see if I can find that thread. Excellent find, regardless of how ya go at it.
