Joe, those are both very nice knives.

A nice conditioned toothpick from Robeson is hard to come by. Seems like folks that carried them liked to keep them sharp, whether they needed it or not. I've never had a bone handled 407 pattern knife.

I'm really struck by the similarity of the bone on those two. Definitely from the same time period.

Hi Charlie.
I see in Tom Kalcevic's book he shows a "Light Jigged Bone Tickler". 616405.
What would be the difference between the two knives?

Not sure. I don't think I know that pattern. I'll have to do a little research.

I misspoke earlier. I said I'd never had a bone handled 407 toothpick, but I should have said" brown bone", as I do have a mint one in Strawberry bone.
