I spoke with Art Green, a prominent vintage cutlery salesman from New England, at The Blade Show this weekend.
He told me that Tom Kalcevic, pre-eminent Robeson cutlery historian and author of two fine books on the topic, is deceased.
I did not know.
Tom had a fabulous collection of Robeson knives and collectible paraphernalia.

Sorry to hear that Charlie. He would come to the Queen Show and have a table. I bought his last book and had him sign it back in 2013.

He seemed like a nice fellow. He brought a Cammilus farmers jack to GEC a year or two ago and I bought it from him and I think he had that in mind. A very reasonable price.
Condolences to his family.
Sorry I didn't stick around Blade long enough to meet you Charlie.

Lyle, did we not meet at The Blade Show some years ago? We were all staying at the La Quinta Inn.

Apparently there has been a mistake. Tom Kalcevic was spotted today at the Queen Show in Titusville, Pa. by Peanut740 and was even photographed so he's still with us after all.

I saw him there also. He had a very nice Robeson display again this year.
