All About Pocket Knives

I would really like to see what other members carry! Not the 'show ponies', knives that are actually used every day for all sorts of tasks from cutting string to dressing 'roadkill'. I'll kick it off with 06244.

Here is one I carry around the house, a Northwoods Jack.....

The Benchmade is my EDC knife, the revolvers I switch out with a Glock.

i've been carrying my c.s. ring opener and and a modified moose for any cuttin tasks and manicuring. always have a spyderco police clipped in back pocket.

Here is a new EDC I got a couple weeks ago.
The Kershaw "Needs Work." Assisted opener. Sandvik 13C26 steel.

Excellent steel in this knife. After 2 weeks of pretty hard use, cutting boxes, cutting liner material for knife handles, trimming bone, etc., I can still shave the hair on my arms.

I guess they call it the "Needs Work" because this knife needs to be put to work.
This is one impressive knife, a hand full of cutting power, and best of all....................................it is made right here in the U.S.A.

This is my current EDC, along with a GEC green tea.

The pictures are not mine, mine always come out terrible. But the knives are great EDC pieces. Dont know how i managed to post the same picture twice. Maybe somebody can fix it

About 50 years or so... If you're still looking for a good EDC think about Queen City/ Cozy Glen mini Trapper. Green bone scales, 1095 steel, cuts brilliantly and cost is about $40.00 from major sellers. Turkish clip, long spey blades, handsome profile and at 3 1/2" easy to carry. 'Hope this is some help.

My EDC just happens to be the first knife that I've been able to keep up with and also is the knife that got me started collecting. I also use a sodbuster jr. but I left it in my workclothes in the doghouse at work

Dang, TKC's EDC knives are nicer than my safe queens!

I was going to post a pic of the Case peanut that lives in my pocket every day, but I don't want to give the little fella an inferiority complex.

This one gets the most pocket time....

Beasbookz. Man I wish I seen that earlier. That is a gorgous queen. I just ordered a Case medium stockman, but I love minitrappers so I may have to make the plung. I seen it for $49.

Beasbookz. how would you rate that queen compared to a Case, as far as fit , finish, steel??? It sure looks nice.

imo, the one I have is very good indeed better than modern Case in every department.

I just ordered a Case medium stockman in CV. The more I look at you Queen mini trapper the more tempted I am to oreder. Mini trappers are my love , and that is sweet looking bone and in carbon steel.

I picked up some Case Warncliffe trappers from Sooner State Knives and I gotta say I'm real big on replacing the spey blade with a Warncliffe blade. I have them in the shop, so I can't tell you the color (and I forget) but they are 2 1/2, 3 1/2, and 4 1/8 inches long. (I can say that they were the cheapest handle colors because those are coming OFF) They are definitely a much more versitile user. Down the road a bit I plan to do some filework and rehandle them ( dang the end of that road just seems so far away). The clip and Warncliffe blades together are something I really like.

Here are my current carry knives. I have been carrying one of the Queen City, Cozy Glen knives for a while now and started carrying the GEC this past friday. The Queen is a great knife, 1095 carbon steel and a muskrat blade.

Well thanks guys. After drooling after beasbookz and mkc queen city I made the plunge. I ordered it in rootbeer bone.. Yippie, i cant wait for it. But geuss I will have too.
