Did someone buy this Imperial from me? I can't find it?

Post by TripleF »

Had it listed on ebay and someone bought it last night, but for the life of me I can not find it.
I delete my PM's frequently so I couldn't find if someone inquired about it.

You don't need to delete your PM's frequently. Just set up your PMs so that when the PM box gets filled up, (100 PMs) as new ones come in, the oldest PMs get deleted automatically. Sure is a time saver. If there are PMs you want to keep, set up a "Keep" folder (or maybe for you, a "Sold Folder") for that and move them to the "Keep" (or Sold) folder when you get one you don't want to delete or want to keep for quite a while.

Someone just discovered recently that his wallet had been put thru the washing machine. Nice and clean. Don't know if it went thru the drying cycle. I shouldn't joke. These incidents are surely disturbing at the moment of recognition. But I think many of us have had such experiences.
Congrats on finding your knife.

I would advertise that one as "RARE - has seen the inside of a washing machine and lived to tell about it!"

My mother always "looked the pockets" before sticking anything in the washing machine. In an all male house, she probably learned early.

I am sure she probably found a few things more interesting then pocketknives.
When my boys were young I think their mother almost stopped checking pants pockets when she found worms.
Of course the worms were much worse for wear even though they had made the washer yet. :D  ::barf::

Scott, I'm curious, was the knife in the washer for a month and a half or in your pocket waiting for the pants to get washed for a month and a half. At least if you resell it you can say it was recently cleaned.____Dave

Mornin' Royal and mornin' to the rest of the guys. Skeeter woke me up early this morning so here I am, all bright and shiney.
Not much on the agenda for today. Bride washed my billfold and all contents yesterday so I need to get in there and see what can be salvaged.
Hope your day is good. ::tu::

WOW Scott,
This is going around a lot lately.
Ray "Paladin's" wife is into "Money Laundering" a big financial advantage there (until you get caught).
How much do you get for "Knife Laundering"? ::hmm::
