Does anyone know what years Queen used this blade etch? Thanks......Bruno

. Queen Cutlery did
obtain the “QUEEN” Trade-Mark on February 16, 1988. Queen was granted the
Trade-Mark again and was registered on February 22, 1994; No. 1,822,386 and it
is in use today.
All of these knives that used the sandblasted marks had these common
characteristics: all were carbon steel, all had Rogers bone handles, and none had
tang stamps and were marked with the blade marking.

Your specific style of the blade/ engraving is shown on a site I found. Can't find a specific year for the sandblasted blades but at a guess perhaps mid 80s.

bdev, I have one reservation. Queen was using that name before they acquired the patent. They got into some trouble with Sears for doing so. But I'm thinking it is at least possible the sandblast knives went back to 1946. I hope a Queen expert will come along and shed some better light on the topic.
