Looks like WVW or WvW stamp Custom Made

Wondering if any of my knife friends can identify the knife maker.
What's also unique is what appears to be 3 grooved cuts in the spine for scraping your ferro rod.
Any help would be appreciated, and oh, one more questions....what kind of wood is that on the handle?

From the bevel on the blade it looks like it has been converted from a different tool. Maybe a saw blade. The handle could be stained curly maple. The mark reminds me of an ax edge profile. Woodman of the World (W.O.W.) often used an ax in their artwork and logos. Nice looking sheath might have held the ferro rod. Looks like a pretty serious user.
What's the blade length Scott?

I like it, a lot. Serious bushcraft knife. Nice sheath too.

Scott, not sure who made it but sure appears to be dyed curly maple. I have done that myself using leather dye. Looks like a well built knife! Terry

Scott I believe it's a Jeff White knife, possibly an English Trade Knife. He used to have a subforum on BushcraftUSA, but now he sells on ebay and amazon. I think terryl308 is right about the wood. The curly maple handles is what made me think of Jeff White right away.

If you look up Jeff White on google, you will see Mr. Whites knives, they sell for around $40-$80 on amazon. I made a fixed blade with dyed curly maple handle a few years back and have sent along a photo. Color varies with the type of dye used.

Unfortunately a search for "Jeff White" turned up nothing about knives.
I think I'll add "knives" after his last name.
