Prayers for my Father IN Law and Wife

Please say a prayer for my father in law and also for my wife. William, (my FIL) is having a lot of health issues, his health problems started falling last year. first it was hernia surgery. then a bad stroke. then fell in the bathroom and broke his hip, more surgery then rehab in nursing home. He is unable to take care of himself and My wife's baby sister moved him in with her family. Three weeks ago my wife and I went and brought him to our house for a few weeks to give them a break, so I have been homebound for the past 3 weeks taking care of him during the day while my wife works. We are taking him home tomorrow, Saturday. Please pray for him and the family. Also just found out this past week that my wife will be having back surgery on April 10, and will be out of work for 3 weeks. Thanks, Keith

Good on you for taking care of your FIL in his time of need. You've got a lot on your plate Keith. I hope things lighten up for you.

Sounds like y'all know how to handle things
. When you do things for your family, you don't ever have to back up or hang your head, your wife and her sister are sharing the load with their dad. Keith, you'll need some special strength to be there for your wife when she gets home from surgery, so we'll be praying for the Lord to help y'all get through a difficult time.

Sorry to read about this Keith. Sounds sadly similar to what my wife went through last year with her dad, without the back surgery. You guys have a lot on your plate. I'll sure be praying for your father in law, your wife, and the rest of you!

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. We got my father in law home safely yesterday, after a 4 hour drive down, he was worn out, then after another 6 hour ride home we were worn out. The traffic on I65 was terrible and bumper to bumper. Please continue to pray for my wife, her surgery is a week from tomorrow.
