Welcome. My first knife was a Western L28. I still have it. My Dad bought it for me at a Army surplus store sometime around 1955. I actively collected all Westerns for years. I don't see many anymore that I don't already have. I'm looking forward to hear some of your insight and knowledge as questions come up. ____Dave

Welcome Stag Man.......glad to have you on board. It's been long thought that Western actually produced an official folding knife for the Boy Scouts of America although as a 50+ year collector of that genre I have yet to find one that would support that thought. I know they produced many fixed blade knifes but my question is; do you know if Western ever produced an official BSA folding knife?
