All About Pocket Knives

For anyone who has been sheltered throughout life, POS = Piece Of Shirt.

Sometime after the first of the new year we gather up choice selections from all the crap we've accumulated during the previous year and send it to some other lucky soul on the forum. We're a little late getting started this year but as the saying goes, "Better late than never".

Rules -- There are none.

However there are some conventions. It is requested you don't send a pile of parts, whole knives only (tipped blades okay). Also nothing that's so rusty you can't get the blades open. Those are not knives, they're just scrap metal.

As for the number of knives you send, it can be one to a brazillion. One knife is not frowned on but then neither is several knives. It's all about personal choice.

If you are new to the forum and curious as to how this thing works, read all 16 pages from the 2014 POS Roundtable thread (or at least until you fall asleep and bang your head on the keyboard).

The plumbing broke last month, I got lots of find pieces of historic cutlery (POSs) around here to send off to some lucky person.
A picture of the sign in my bathroom!
I thought will probably be appropriate for the box when it arrives at some lucky person's house.
(it will save me another big bill with the plumber!)

Yes...I've just pulled it up from my in bix and the recipient is "jerryd6818".....
I'll try again shortly. Occasionally out in the middle of no things can be a bit funky concerning emails, text, etc

That shouldn't make any difference because PMs are all internal to AAPK.

Try this. Go over to the left and under my name and click on the box labeled "Contact" then click on the left hand icon in the box that pops up (it says "Send Private Message" if you hover your cursor over it.) That may be the way you're doing it but there's no way I could know that.

If you can't get it to go, email it to [email protected]

Just sent one as you described (which I'm certain I did in the first attempt) plus I sent you another to the yahoo address.
If this does not work...I suppose it was not meant to be.

Uh....I was joking earlier about "collecting POS's"...
But after gleaning the post from the 2014 POS deal and seeing what some of you guys sent out....I'm to give up some of the "stuff" I really like!

This is going to be a great time and before-spring-and-the-work-begins time killer.....can't wait.
