All About Pocket Knives

Got this knife many years ago and haven't been able to tell exactly what model it is;any ideas?

It's a model 40. Shares the same model number as Queen's Electrician Knife.

Thank you for the prompt response sir! I have never seen it listed in any of the knife books;at least with a picture.

If you have Sargent's book "American Premium Guide to Knives and Razors" 6th edition, it is on page 381.

I think I have that book somewhere in my library;I'll have to check it out. Thanks again for the info.

I just checked and I have the 5th edition.Not in that one.

When you think about it, these electrician's knives are designed to do something you should never do with a pocketknife - put twisting, torsion stress on a blade. Good way to snap a blade off, or loosen it up in the bolster. BUT this screwdriver blade is plenty long, so you can grab the blade itself when twisting, taking the stress off the joint. Plus it's probably only for light-duty, just making electrical connections.

I find it interesting that the old common screw heads have been gradually disappearing, but you can still find a good bottle of beer that needs a cap lifter.
