All About Pocket Knives

I know there's limited info on Queen City tang stamps circa 1945 and earlier but I'm trying to find out more about the two script stamps.
Queen used two script stamps, a small script and a large script and I'm trying to determine which came first.

The two pictures below show both stamps, both from the #10 Heavy Jack pattern.
The large script knife uses steel liners and the small script uses brass liners.
Both have composite black handles.

Any info would be appreciated.

According to Goins, that script tang stamp was used from 1922-1945, but it doesn't specify large or small. Now you have me wondering. Hopefully someone can give us an answer because I'd also like to know.

I'm taking an educated guess that the larger stamp was first. It's oversized for the tang which might have lead to the smaller stamp.
Also, the knife with the large stamp has non-brass liners. Most of my later year #10's have brass liners.

Just a guess but not a definitive answer.

Now that I think of it, The steel liner knives are probably wartime. 1941-45.
Brass was scarce during that time.
The two stamps were probably used simultaneously.
I don't think we'll ever know for sure. If you think about it, it doesn't really matter but it's fun doing the research.
