I was reading an article about these knives- anyone have one , if so , how do you like them ? Are they a large knife? What is the main purpose of this knife?
Thanks
John

The annual AAPK knife from 2015 was a "rope knife" style. Back in the era around the turn of the 20th Century and into WW1 they were built much more robust than the AAPK annual knife and were used to cut rope, mostly on board ship. You could "baton" the blade through heavy rope with a belaying pin.
