Will post some as soon as I can--forgot to mention it's a splitback whittler equal end, meant to say small blades say Robeson usa cutlery

Mince22, Nice vintage Robeson Whittler! According to my Robeson tang marking sheet your Robeson Whittler would have been produced in the years 1922--1939. Our resident expert on everything Robeson, Charlie Noyes, will probably be along soon to give you considerably more insight into the pattern type (the six digit number 633191) on the other side of the primary blade tang (pile side) of the Whittler. Thanks,
I did a quick search on the internet and checked my books, can't even find the pattern number listed. It's a pretty nice one, good walk and talk blades are fairly full, one of the pens hits the liner when closing needs krinked, I think that's the term, the other way but last time I tried that I broke the blade so wont be doing that again.

I don't recall ever seeing that pattern before and I do not recall the number 191.
Here is a very similar knife, but with a spear blade instead of a clip and a close number, 632189.
Don't worry about the first three digits, just look at the last three. That's the handle die shape number. This knife is only two away in the Robeson pattern numbering system.
I suspect they are the same size, too, 3 1/4".

Charlie, They are the same size, I have seen the 189 pattern in a few books--beautiful example by the way/ but can't find any info on this 191 I have.
