All About Pocket Knives

I have a Remington knife, 2 blades, that has RB43 on the long blade and Remington UMC inside a circle. Around the outside of the circle is Made in USA. Can anyone please tell me anything about this knife or where I might get additional information on it. This was my grandfathers who died in l971 at the age of 99. I would really like to find out more about the knife.

The RB43 should be a Barlow pattern...usually a long bolster at the blade end only. Is it a white bone by chance??
A picture would really help, as Remington stopped making their own knives around 1940. Many other companies have made Remingtons on contract.
