Sorry to hear that Scott. Yes it does sometimes, in fact much of the time things just aren't the way I would like them to be. I hurt for your friend and you. ____Dave

Unfortunately tomorrow isn't promised unless you believe that your walk on Earth is just that, Godspeed Scott.

Scott,
It's always quite a shock when someone passes unexpectedly. After a long illness we are sometimes more prepared for such a happening but as bestgear already stated, "..tomorrow isn't promised..". This gives those of us left behind an opportunity to consider where are we headed?
Praying for strength and comfort to all involved.

Sorry to hear that Scott. I believe heart disease is the second highest killer of women.

For some reason, they seem to be protected by their hormones until they go through menopause. After that, heart disease accelerates.

I had a Turkish physician and good friend tell me once, "Live as though you're going to live forever, but pray as though tomorrow is your last day on earth".

As it has been explained to me: Women have great protection from their monthly passage of blood which forces the body (bone marrow) to generate new blood cells which are fresh, soft, pliable and can best squeeze thru the tight spaces. Because the majority of heart attacks are caused by too thick, sludgy, blood it has been observed by alert doctors that those who donate blood regularly are almost heart attack proof.

Many thanks fellas. My buddy still struggles and asks why her instead of him. I keep in contact with him via texts to try and keep his mind
distracted, but alas, he knows what I am doing.....and remains grateful. It is tough to loose one so unexpectedly.....
