Queen Texas Trapper

Hi - My brother picked up this small Queen trapper this weekend. We were wondering if anybody had any info on the history of this knife. Neither one of us have seen one like it before.

The blade etch says 'best little texas trapper'
tang stamp has Titusville, PA PH-D2
Smooth bone handle

Nobody knows nuthin' about these? ::shrug:: We were mostly just trying to figure out how old it was....

It's not very old, because the D2 marking is the type of steel...and Queen just began using D2 a couple of years ago.

Yep, Bill said it all. Cutlery companies are just beginning to offer excellent cutlery steels on their knives in just the last couple years. Not much else to add. ::shrug::
