I would like to share some of the finds that have come my way the past several months. There are a few from my list that I posted earlier.[image]

I have never seen any knives with a Bulldog type etch on the blade and "Winchester" on the tang. Did you get these recently ?
Likely Mr Parker jr. had some involvement.

Roland,
Those Winchester stamped knives with the Pitbull Terrier etch were among the 1st Bulldogs produced by Charlie Dorton around 1978 and are the most difficult to locate.

Tom, thank you for correcting me regarding the Winchester stamped Bulldogs. I did collect Bulldogs although not in a dedicated way, but i had never heard of this Winchester marking on a Bulldog knife.
I think accurate information on the Charlie Dorton Bulldogs is now limited to a few collectors like Tom who followed them from the very beginning.
It is important for the rest of us to really seek out the true Bulldog history and not repeat the inaccurate stuff, as i was doing above.
I very much appreciate those who take the time to correct me when needed.

Zeke, is that a coal miner shield on BKC # 148 ?
Good looking pack of dogs. I like the cattle knives too.

Are the Bulldogs still made in Germany? Thought I saw some Chinese made BD's on the Ebox. Sad that everything, and I mean just about everything is being made there nowadays.

The shield on the 2-blade #148 is a coal miner. Thank you for your kind words
