All About Pocket Knives

I noticed this knife on Ebay and thought I would get some opinions on it....excited to be a part of AAPK. eBay item number:

I don't doubt it's genuine...I do suspect it's short, and reground to a non-factory profile

Ok I knew it looked reshaped I thought the grind was off also like they might have used different blades. Thanks.

Beside the short blade it looks to have delrin handles. Not really a knife someone would counterfiet.

If the "repair" you're talking about is this, I don't think it's a "repair". Looks more like some kind of hot gunk was splashed on the handle.

Question for the Case experts -- Why doesn't this knife have a shield on it?

JerryD that looks like a 31 pattern. It's not uncommon for the swell end jacks like the 02 1/2, the 31 1/2 and the 35 1/2 to come without shields.

6214 1/2 well worn delrin

It's a Frankenknife. 6202 1/2 (barehead pattern) blade in a 6214 (full head and tail bolsters) frame. Knife has been completely taken apart and poorly reassembled. If you look at the pics from the auction posting you can see that the center pin is not original. The back spring for the master blade protrudes from the frame at the tail end. I don't think the pen blade is original Case.

Looks like the center pin was over peened...the delrin is bulging on the mark side.
