All About Pocket Knives

This is an El Gallo single blade with wood handles and it is in the same pattern as my EDC except that the blade is an oddly shaped clip. At least, I have never seen this pattern with a clip blade other than this one. I am pretty sure someone turned this spear point into a clip by grinding it down.
It was a great knife before the surgery. After the surgery, I guess it is an OK knife. It is a matter of opinion.
I tried to move a photo here from the Bay but couldn't get 'er done. Maybe someone who is more adept than I am will do that.
I'll post a photo of mine for comparison purposes.

I'm with Ray on this one. Believe the blade has been reshaped. I've owned several of these wood handle El Gallo's over the years and never saw any with a clip style blade, only spear blades. I'm still attachment challenged here but will try to attach a picture of two sizes of the subject knife in my collection. Ray, you've probably had several of these also. If you're carrying one as an EDC, that's a good testament to the quality of the steel and ability to sharpen to a really good edge.

Yep, actually I carry both of the ones you show. I carry the big one during the week and the smaller one on Sundays. As I have said before, you can just show 'em a hone and they get sharp by themselves.

Here is one that seems odd to me. If a true straight line should have a 3 eye etch. Has an older shield though. Any thoughts?
