All About Pocket Knives

Seeing a couple of really nice small fixed blades that can be safely carried in your front pocket got me thinking about how this might be a great alternative to carrying a folder all the time.
Kind of hard to set a definite criteria for what constitutes a pocket fixed blade but I think the blade length should not exceed 2" and overall length maybe 5-6" with six being an absolute maximum. Feel free to adjust this as necessary.
With that being said I hereby offer up a few specimens to start this thread off.Some of these are close to the maximum size and blade length on a few is over 2". Some have handles that would definitely NOT be comfortable inside a pocket.These could be delegated as neck knives.
#1:A pair of diver's backup knives.Would need a new sheath to be pocket carriers.
#2:A handmade knife stamped FRP.Brass scales make this one a bit heavy for pocket carry.
#3:Is a group of six knives that would be more suited to belt use(IMHO).They are made by(top to bottom)Case;G.B.(letters form the ears of a round face with a crew cut holding a knife in his mouth);Mohawk;Kutmaster;unmarked;and one marked V-1.
#4:An unmarked knicker knife with sheath marked Lucerne(Switzerland?).
#5:A small knife marked FES Rostfrei.
#6:A small green handled puuko.I can't read the name on it(like all the puukos I have).
#7:An alternative to pocket carry:A belt buckle knife by the Nolen brothers ca 1974.
#8:A small unmarked knife I bought and added ivory scales I made from old piano keys.
#9&10:A United Cutlery knife that can be used as either a small knife or a push dagger.

Here's a few more. Sorry for the double pic of the UC dagger.
#1: A small knife by maker Tom McLuin of Dracut MA. I have four of Tom's knives and he is a good friend as well as a great maker.Not sure if he is still active;last I heard he was making some great automatics.
#2:A small Mexican dagger sold as a letter opener.
#3:A small obsidian dagger with an animal jaw for a handle. Not quite a pocket carrier.
#4:A small ring guard knife made in Germany;unmarked.
#5:Another unmarked small knife;possibly Chinese.
#6:Another small puuko.
#7:Another small Finnish knife;don't think you could call this a puuko.
#8:Two Parker mini knives;one in Damascus made in the late 1970's or early 1980's.
#9:Unmarked bone handled puuko with decoration.

Last few for now:I still have a few more to photograph.
#1&2: A Sports Skinner that has a folding guard to limit cutting depth.
#3:A tiny nicker knife with beautiful small stag handle marked Rostfrei.Another one that wouldn't be too comfortable in your pocket.
#4:An unmarked custom knife I bought from a friend years ago that was unfinished. Had no edge on it and I really worked to put one on .No idea who made it but the quality is tops and the knife fits comfortably in either hand and either right side up or inverted.
Last is a Valor Mustang;one of the first commercially made skeletonized knives around 1978.

Made specifically to fit in your hip pocket, I think the AG Russell Woods Walker fits here. It's 6" with a 2-3/8" blade.
The Cold Steel Spike and it's neck sheath is also a candidate for this thread.
Though a touch longer than the OP criteria, the Northwoods Button Hole is as cute as a button.

I'm a fan of small EDC fixed blades!

- Stabilized Coyote jaw bone handle custom made - very thin but right at the length limit for pocket carry
- Rick Menefee custom Stag scales, red liners - 5-3/8" OAL, 2" blade - sheath has no belt loop.
- Vintage Butterscotch Micarta handle EDC - right at 6" OAL, blade is 2-5/8" 440C
- Stabilized Curly Maple handle - right at 6" OAL, blade is 2-5/8" 440C

Here are a few more:
#1:A small Japanese fixed blade from the 1960's,Just outside the length limit and the guard doesn't help either.Some of these came with compasses embedded in the handle.
#2:A small fighter by a maker named Dickinson(can't remember his first name).He may be deceased now as I bought it on e-Bay from his wife who had quite a few knives of his to sell.
#3:Kind of an unusual small knife with a plastic blade cover marked Kakuri.Blade ground on one side only. When I researched this one I came up with some type of a kit that included this knife.Can't recall exactly;will have to re-check it.
#4:A small nicker knife with a solid pearl handle made in Germany.
#5:A bit small for using but a little gem nevertheless;a bolo tie with a miniature fighting knife and stag sheath by Jim Turecek of Derby CT. Had this made by him about 30 years ago so I don't know if he is still active.Great guy and a fine craftsman.
#6: A neck knife that is a push dagger that folds into a straight knife by United Cutlery.It can only be sheathed in the folded position.
I probably have more hiding out here and there;I'll have to dig through my accumulation and find them.
BTW Thanks to those who posted some fine knives.Come on the rest of you........start digging them out!

on me again....that bolo tie knife with stag sheath is sure one I would love

Sorry but that one is a keeper. I waited almost 15 months for that knife and just before I was to pick it up Jim(Turecek the maker)called me and said he had a customer that was really hot to get one and if I wanted to sell him mine he was will to pay $100 over what I paid for it.That was 30 years ago and $100 was a pretty good chunk of change but I declined.I wanted the knife more than the money. Guess it has always been that way.
I don't know if Jim is still making knives but if you like I can get his contact info;he is(or was)located in Derby Connecticut.He told me that making the miniatures was harder than making full sized knives.What I love about it is the scale of the stag is perfect for the size of the knife. I only have two other stag scaled miniatures that are sized perfectly:one is a miniature German knicker knife and the other a folder that is about 170 years old.That knife(last two pictures)is only about 2 inches long closed.

These are not as small as some shown here but miniatures by this fellow Don Hedrick are something to see. I don't have one but there is one out there that might come up this Winter that I am interested in. Well, here goes:

The Mini Pit bull I got from LL B--n advertised as a "folding knife" for about one day then it disappeared .
It's not a folder. Came with a neck chain too.

In later years they changed the blade grinds quite a bit. The Boulder versions like yours are much nicer.
Billy Schutte of Cheyenne, Wyoming re-handles Westerns, mostly in red-dyed elk stag, like this one. It also is the earlier version of the 628.

I've got this little Kabar boot knife when I bought a FN nickel plated 1908 vest pocket 25 ACP with MOP grip panels. It's the European version of the little Colt auto. Someone said shiny sells?
