All About Pocket Knives

This knife has been presented to me for sale, and i can't find anything on it. So in my hour of need, i have turned you you lovely people to educate me.

All i know is that it is a beautifully manufactured knife for the NRA, with a deep etching on both sided, possibly done by Aurum Etchings.

Was it made by Schrade?. I would love to be informed of any information anyone has on this delightful knife.

I can't help you ,that's a lot more ornate than any of the begging for money knives they send out. I've got a buck fixed blade and a colonial lockback now and at one time I think I had a little case made knife but its missing in action. A lot of their promotional stuff comes from the far east..

can't say for sure, but most of the NRA, Pheasants Forever, and Ducks Unlimited promotional items are imported but pretty well made items. I don't believe Schrade made them but then again I'm just guessing. If it doesn't have USA stamped on it , it probably isn't. Terry

Wherever if came form it looks mighty good! You might e-mail the picture to the NRA and ask what and when was that particular knife offered and who made it .

Didn't Schrade do a collaboration with bob Loveless awhile back? Seems to me they offered a drop point hunter called a Schrade-Loveless. That looks like a tricked up version of one. Probably a very limited(and expensive)production model.

EDIT: Not made by Schrade but by Track knives. If it is the one on e-Bay now the price is nearly $700. I own a Track folder and it is beat up but still holds a razor edge and locks up nice and tight. Track knives are very collectible.

Knife7/knut, Your right Schrade did make a Loveless/Schrade fixed blade knife that was called a PH1, they sell for 45-75 bucks on ebay. They also made a "limited edition" with a serial number and came in a nice black box with all the COA stuff and it brings about $300, or at least that's what they are trying to get. If you look them up on ebay , you will see the butt of the OP knife is a lot different than the Schrade model. Terry

Nothing to back up what I'm about to say, but when I first saw the picture of this knife, Browning came to my mind.

This looks like a Browning I saw some time back at a local pawn shop. I'd say it is a imported Browning knife.

It could be a Japan made Browning.They were of very high quality.I have a few somewhere that came in nice displays and had a frameable print with them.What does the other side look like?
