Real. There's been several of these made. Shaw-Liebowitz is a husband/wife who do custom engraving. Do a google search for Shaw-Liebowitz Knife.

Shaw-Leibowitz used to do a LOT of knives for various manufacturers. Their work was top shelf. I have one special edition(had two but gave one to my brother)Case boot dagger that featured a cast pewter handle done by them. I also posted a picture awhile back of a series of knives they did that were absolutely beautiful.
