Daddy's old eye brand copperhead.

This one's been sitting on my table for about a year now waiting for me to figure out what to do with it. This is the knife that daddy packed for most of my growing up years. As you can see daddy's idea of sharpening is to lay the blade just about flat on a stone and sharpen away! It makes em sharp but man talk about blade loss.
He gave this one to me about a year ago. The clip blade was sharpened way down and the tip stuck way up and would slice your finger when you reached in your pocket.
I decided I want to pack it some today, so off to the 1x30 belt grinder it went. It only took a couple thousandths or so but I made it into a modified sheepsfoot, kind of like a benchmade. It really shows up if you expand the pics.
It doesn't stick up anymore and I think it has a few more years left in it.....so long as I don't let daddy sharpen it anymore. Lol
