You just never know.

I had a real surprise today that I'm still kind of in shock over. You never know when just a simple act of kindness, or generosity that you do for others will come back and surprise you. I have a friend who I have only known for a couple of months. This friend had a problem which I felt I could help him with and which I felt really didn't require much of an effort on my part. I was glad that I could be of some assistance to this person and hopefully solve some of the problems that were affecting him.
My mail came today, and there was a large box addressed to me. It was from my friend who is a knife addict like most of us. Inside this box was over fifty knives. All mint condition and with their original boxes. He apparently gave them to me in gratitude for helping him. I have always felt that people should try to do at least one act of kindness a day, no matter how insignificant.

Way to go Jim, it's a cool thing to do something nice to someone who is unsuspecting while expecting nothing in return, but it always comes back.
