Western lariat logo?

Does anyone know what years Western used the logo that spelled "Western" with what looked like a lariat rope?

From reprinted catalog pages in "The Knife Makers Who Went West," by Harvey Platts (the owner of the company) this logo was definitely used from 1950 to 1960. Probably not earlier or later.
