Old Stag Russell Barlow

In one of the other forums there was mention of older knives made in the USA with stag handles. A picture of a nice Russell Barlow was posted. Here is the opposite of that. Pretty sure the stag handles on this one are much newer and not original , also note the pins and the bolsters appear to have been buffed out where the repining has occurred.

I believe that stag scaled Barlow is a later reproduction Russell Barlow.Forget the company who made them but I think Jim Parker had something to do with it. If I recall correctly the date was stamped on the opposite side of the tang.

JB I think you did this on purpose. ::stir::

At least one of our members doesn't already own this one. Don't look good buddy. Brass liners, squared fluted bolsters.
Excuse me?
