The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on June 30. The Individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. That is a fine looking knife. I think that GEC makes the most appealingly proportioned clip blades of any current maker. That clip blade is a good example of what I like! Thank you Bob for such a nice offering!

I have never won one of these monthly drawings, so I was shocked when JerryD texted me and said "it looks like you won"!
In May that I won the Tony Bose Case Saddlehorn, which was the first knife drawing I ever won, now I just won this awesome Northfield!

I got the GEC #53 in the PO box Saturday. I haven't carried it yet because I am testing some knives for a member. I am carrying them for a week to use them and see how they perform.
I will be switching to the #53 next week to see how I like it.
I love the slimness of the single spring in such a large frame. Most 4" knives have 2 springs and are much wider and heavier.
The #53 is both slim & light. Another plus for me is that the blades do NOT have half stops, and the spring is softer than most of the GECs I have had.
Stiff springs and half stops are not a good thing for me rheumatoid arthritis and only partial use of my left hand; so I am very pleased with this knife!

I'm glad you like it Dale, It is a slim knife for its size and doesn't have a nail breaker pull.
