What ya think....
Is it a Utica...?
Just a little blade wobble and decent snap
I scored it a while back off the Bay...

Hak1911 - nice knife... when you google the patent number you can view the patent and it was assigned to Utica Cutlery from the inventor (Albert Edward Allen)... so my guess would be no doubt made by Utica (unless they sold blades to other cutleries for knives than the frame may be another cutlery).... I tried to attach patent for you but I guess the pdf was too large....

To lookup a patent, just type USXXXXXXXX into google , i.e. US+patent number.
Yours is at

For bolstered handle assigned to Utica, so you guessed it!

Patent app dates DO NOT describe the age of a knife... Schrade automatics made in 1955 were patented in 1917 (on the blade)

I believe it is a Utica.
A few years ago I had a similar knife marked Utica Pat Pending. it had a tin bolster slipped over a shadow style knife. I sold it and later I wished I had not.
Look closely at the bolsters and see if they seem to wrap around the frame.
I found pictures
