Got this thang in a junk knife "lot"... From a post by TJ (Camillus PRO) Murphy
i figgered out itsa #60 Senator deluxe ( i think) .. . But what year is 4 line stamps (2 blades) and
whaaz value of this thang??

The 4 line tang stamp is 1946 and before.
The 4 line tang stamp was used in 1933 on some knives made for the 1933 World's Fair.
I believe there are earlier examples of the 4 line tang stamp that predate 1933 but I cannot locate it now.

...mrB, I've got 2 like that, on both of mine, the nail file blade is not stamped. on none of my 4line knives that have a nail file like that, is that blade stamped, so I think it is 1919-1941. I carry one of mine a lot, I really love that pattern!!..nice find!!!!.........

Naaaw the nail file is NOT stamped...
do ya call this a split spring or NO ..

Carmillus I am pretty sure it's the same one.I am not at home right now but I posted a pic of it this morning in mail call with some other knives. Check that and see.

....that's it, but that one appears to be equal-end and not the sleeveboard like the one's in this post!!......

Bottom knife is a 60, master only marked with long underline, first two are 4 liners, all blades marked including files.
