All About Pocket Knives

Always great to find a new knife, but it's a nice bonus when we can come upon the original packaging also. Here are a few examples, please add more.

Now that is real nice Mason ... don't see that type of full packaging often and especially for what I like to add to my pile ... I'm lucky if I find a cutlery box ....

Somewhere around here is a little cracked ice handled dog leg jack in a box with a penny, to get back when the knife was gifted to someone.

It belongs to my son, but I think it's still here.

These little Eli Lilly Imperials came in a plastic box with a penny and the story behind it.

Here is about the most basic packaging available, military...
Presto (George Schrade Knife Co. 1929 to 1956) WWII era paratroopers model with original green cord and heavy paper wrapping.

Looks to me the packaging is as good or better to collect as the knife itself.

I especially like the Eli Lilly knife and its presentation. Brings back memories
when Lilly was one of the top 5 drug manufacturers in the world.

I have several myself but most are not in the original packaging. I do have a Miss Army Knife(pink SAK designed for the ladies) around somewhere.Here are some:
Black Knight Sword
Miss Army Knife(not w/package)
Peter Pan knife(McDonald's giveaway I think)
Swiss Bubble knife
Space 1999 multiblade(all plastic)
Four Wannatoy knives
Knife and axe set(I think by Marx)
A Marx barlow
and last is a knife that the blade slides into the handle when pressed against someone.All plastic.

I have this one, the bottom of the box is gone but the top tray is nice

These are fairly uncommon but to find one in the display box it came!! They were made to compliment the Parker pens of the period. Utica made some great stuff.

Those are great fellers, very impressive the amount of original packaging that people have held onto.

To all, nice bunch of knives with boxes! Extremely hard to find around here. You guys have entered a new phase of knife collecting, great to see. I'll keep looking, Terry
