Thank you all for a great site!
I am dreaming of having a folding knife made to me. I just send a question regarding mothe rof pearl handle.
I am going to use it when I go hunting-fishing. So, I need a bit heavy blade, 21/2-3" long.
I have been thinking of a blade and bolster in damascus steel. But, how is that steel? Not good in a working knife?
Do anyone know a good knife maker in europe? UK?
Wish you all a good weekend

I know there is a couple in Italy that do very fine work. There are some in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway who do very fine work using Sandvic steels as well as Damascus that may be good for heavy work. They might be found in the Brittish Blades forum. I can't remember thier names though.
There is a maker in the Czech Republic who is a good maker, papi.
http://www.papi-knives.com Well, I remembered 1 out of 15

He makes some fine knives.
