Well I guess I will have to keep my signature the same for awhile longer. ::tear:: The fixed blade set came in today and 3 of the 4 knives were just fine. The one I wanted most, the 523-5 has the most mismatched Stag handles I have ever seen! :x He only showed one side in the listing and I didn't ask for more pics so I guess I ought to blame myself. It will do till I find another one. The front side has the nice thick stag at least.

Dang, I hate seeing that. I like the look of the knife, looks like it has a thumb rest on top of the blade, on top and in front of the ricasso. I always like that in a knife, gives better dexterity. Well, GOOD LUCK IN YOUR QUEST! ::nod::
Now if you can find one with big stag on both sides, that would be great.

Thanks Hukk. I'm sure I will find a beauty some day. The other 3 of that set were great. I just don't like handles to be that different. I guess it doesn't bother some people ::shrug:: Kelley

If I were using it, and the thin slab was on the side against my hip, I might like it a lot!!
But I know what you mean; symmetry is beautiful to us bilateral bipeds   ! ( hope I got that right!)
