Handmade ruffed grouse knife by J. Szilaski of New York in ATS34 steel. The knife has cocobolo wood handles with nickel silver pins. There is a thin red spacer material between the wood scales and the stainless steel. The full length of the knife is 6.5" (Blade = 3" and Handle = 3.5"). There is a 1.25" serrated section on the blade edge. The blade is 3/16" thick at its widest point. The limited edition print (mounted in the lid of the presentation box behind plexi-glass) is signed and numbered by Brian Jarvis and is also number 50/50 to correspond with the number of the knife. The presentation box also contains a handmade leather sheath which fits the knife perfectly. There is a red suede-like fabric lining the cherry wood box. #50/50
This knife was personally given to me many years ago by the President of The Orvis Company but just doesn't fit in my collection any more and it's time another collector to appreciate the beauty of the knife and the print. They originally sold for $450 but I'd let it go to a fellow AAPK member for the best offer I can get.
PM me your interest and best offer and hopefully this beauty will be on it's way to a new home. I will take care of shipping and insurance.
Thanks for looking, Tom
