Restored OLD HICKORY Filet Knife

I shoulda taken pics to start.....I usually do.
This knife was GROADY. Looked like someone had cleaned a few hundred fish and then set the knife down in the garage for a few years.

I wouldn't have bought it but did because I taw the blade stamp.
Sanded, and added a couple coats of boiled linseed oil! Here she is, ready for the prom!!

Looks good to me!! Nicely done!! I think the blade stamp says "Shur Edge" but can't make out the other.

It actually reads: TRU-EDGE ....along with Ontario Knife Co.
Yeah Jerry, they usually bring 10 to 20.....depending on size.

Can't eat no catfish but I can put a hurtin' on some crappie!!! ummmmm......ummmmm!

Great work, Scott! You can't beat those Ontario Old Hickory's for every day use.
