K.W. 20th Ann. 5 Blade Sowbelly / Offers Please !
Posted: Fri Feb 26, 2016 9:38 pm
Made by Queen 1997(on tang), 3 3/4", jigged yellow bone, 1095 steel, serial # 090.
Queen also made this knife for Moore Maker. If you have never had one of these you should get one if you are a lover of 'slipjoints'.
This knife has a heft and extremely solid in-hand feel, most satisfying. I have lots of Queen knives from about 1930's to present and i think this knife and the 'era' it was made both are the best of Queen's workmanship. If Queen could again consistently make knives like this one, GEC would loose sales.
I did not take a picture with all blades open for fear of slicing myself, but i will if asked (take the picture). The dark areas on the clip blade are shadows, blade is 'mint'.
$130 shipped USPS. If you think this is a bit on the expensive side, you won't when you have the knife.
I will be sad to see it go, but financial need prevails.
If you really want this knife but think my price too high, feel free to make me your best offer.
Thanks.
Edit to add: If you like this knife, please make me an offer before Monday evening. I am going to P.O. Tuesday and would love to send it to you. This is a 'good' knife. Makes you feel good when in-hand.
