All About Pocket Knives

Another Jack Knife Shop looks good but hey figured i'd come for feedback since I'm 2 for 3 on these and still learning about them.

Nice old knife and hard to find without bone handles.

I have not seen this marking before. Is it associated with "Jack Knife Ben" ?

Yes after the sons took over the business 40s-50's changed to Jack Knife Shop

I know this OP is over 5 years old, but is that an Imperial shell?

I have some with yellow handles but not with a shell.

Thanks, JKB! Do you think that originally posted knife is a shell? I would be surprised if they used Imperials but who knows?

Edit* I think I answered my own question- shells are not pinned.

Tang stamp looks good, never seen a shell handle pinned. Can’t see where they changed blades. Might be one of the very last contracted knives. I would not but it.

OP knife looks fine to me, looks like a contract knife made by Schrade, 1940's to 50's.
