I'm not the best at this scratch/rust removal thing but I think she looks a lot better than she did when I found 'er....

I'd say you did a pretty nice job on that!! Looks good to me...
What type of handle material is that? It looks like it's all metal.

The black beauty knives had handles made of alternating fiberglass and stainless steel discs.

The Black Beauty's sure look nice cleaned up. Here is my before and after. Muskrat Man did the work. I've been looking for the oak leaf sheath; anybody got one they'll part with?

I love to see a couple of knife saves like that. Good job to you both. Here is my latest edition a redbone 744 punch-never sharpened, had some staining and have been rubbin and rubbin; rubbed so long I thought a genie would pop out. From Casper Wyoming. I always find it interesting to keep up where these things come from. Another cowpoke save.
