I like the no-show look on a bolster of the tang pin ...no nut. But I was thinking about using a bronze bushing, not IKBS.
Would there be anyway to use the bushing and a peened pin through the tang and bolster on a typical slip joint ?

I like the no-show look on a bolster of the tang pin ...no nut. How does a nut fit into that?
But I was thinking about using a bronze bushing, not IKBS. What is IKBS and where were you planning to put the bushing? Pressed fit in the blade tang pivot hole? What would this gain you besides another level of complexity?
Would there be anyway to use the bushing and a peened pin through the tang and bolster on a typical slip joint ? You must be designing on a plain I'm unable to visualize. I'm unable to picture this concept.
Can you draw a picture for me?

It seems I am late to the party but that is a good thing I guess.
