just received my gec in primative bone. 2007 tang stamp. it's a northfield un-X-ld. this is one of the nicest smooth bones i've seen. sharp out of the box. etchings are crisp and clean. i can't wait for more patterns.

That is a sweet knife Johnnie.

The primitive bone is my favourite of all the GEC knives shown. Thanks

Congrats johnnie f! It is a beauty. I like that two-blade pattern much more than the new 1 blade.
I know they are pretty much the same...but I'm not crazy about the beaver picture on the blade. Who knows why.
Anybody heard any news about any new patterns?

Congrats Johnnie, great looking knife! GEC is making some really great knives. I like both the 2 blade and the single blade, maybe because they used a spey blade rather than a clip on the single.
Next one out is model 53, the Cuban in all 3, GEC, Tidioute, and Northfield, I don't know when though.

I just got the last knife for my sons GEC set. 2 sets without the casein knives, thats 34 knives right there. Dang that's expensive, but when you are completing a set, bid real high on the last knife. I need to take some pictures.
