Picture problems

What does it mean when I try to post a picture and get this message in red letters ?
THE EXTENSION PNG IS NOT ALLOWED , or something to that affect.

You need to convert the picture you are trying to upload to .jpg or .jpeg

As Dimitri said, the format of the picture is incorrect because AAPK only accepts the .jpg format (note that at the end of the file name). You can change the format by opening the picture in MS Paint (included in all versions of Windows) and then doing a "save as" and choosing .jpg from the drop down window. After that, it's a piece of cake. Just upload the .jpg version of the image.

I'm trying this after making one of my picture folders JPEG . I hope it works, thanks jerryd and Miller Bros.
I'll try this Girl Scout knife. I wish I was 40 years younger so I knew how to work these #^(^*@%$ computers. Well it didn't work on the Scout knife...that's the black square.
