Well, this might be as close as i ever get to a knife by this maker, or m. price.
lol, almost a knife
its 4 and 5/8 ths bigger than some knives

As long as we are guessing, I'm going for a fish net repair needle. I used to work in a upholstery shop back in the 60's and we never used anything like that, but the stamp is worth a lot, nice old needle! Terry

Great score cato. I think that due to proximity either sail or net repair are good guesses.

Here is a set that I acquired many years ago. A friend of mine who worked for Ted Hood;a famous sailmaker in Marblehead Massachusetts told me that is what they were. Large one is stamped,"J.J.&S England"

K7K, some of those look like suture needles.
And, size does not matter. There are some very large suture needles.
I Googled "J. J. & S. England". Got several matches. They were known for making "sacking" needles. Sacking, sail-making, pretty much same, I suspect.
