Welcome to aapk. Please stop by the new members section and introduce yourself, we'd love to get to know ya.
Remington knives are not my field of expertise so I can't answer your question for certain. Others will be along shortly who can. It does look like a good sturdy knife. I like it.

Yeppers! You did it. A very decent one too.
Is there a story that goes with it? And welcome to AAPK. Good start!
Ray
Edit: According to Goins, that stamp dates 1921 to 1924.

Welcome to AAPK!

The friendliest knife site on the world wide web.
You obviously have some knowledge and/or experience with vintage knives, otherwise you'd not have acquired the knife, nor would you have been capable of thinking it might be an original Remington Bullet Knife.
We'd love to hear the story of how you obtained the knife, exclusive of the monetary details, although if you got it cheap, you could ruin a few keyboards really quickly.
If you weren't a vintage knife collector, you is one now, even if that's your only knife.
Plus, you've joined AAPK, an internet site that spreads the knife collecting virus to almost all that come here.
You're done for.....

Thanks everyone. If it's not against the forum rules does anyone care to take a shot at the value in present condition? If anyone will bite on that I'll give the small backstory and it will probably ruin quite a few keyboards. Thanks again.

Pricing is very subjective but without the knife in hand and assuming it's a good knife with no problems I would say it is in the $500 range.

Thank you. So the story is I really know next to nothing about vintage knives and I'd never even heard of a Bullet knife until yesterday. I only have a very very small bit of knowledge when it comes to Vintage Case XX knives. But I lovllle pretty much all things old so I actually bought this knife because I do know what patina looks like. That and I knew from its brand alone that it had to be worth at least the 20 bucks it cost me at my local pawn shop! Keyboards ruined?

Just for comparison, here is one my grandfather has of the same knife. I know he has turned down offers of $700 for his. I'd say you're doing pretty well if this is one of your first knife purchases. Well done! Can you see any faint "Remington" blade etching left on the secondary blade?
FYI, these knives were made between 1920-1933. They usually seem to have very strong snap, something about how they made them way back when.

You'll have to go a ways before you do that again. Josh does that pawn shop have any that looks like the way this knife is made.

My wife bought me a iPad so this was my first try at taking pictures with the iPad and putting them on aapk. Does look a little weird but the knife is laying on a white surface and I am trying to stay out of the light source.
